Xinhua Village: a lane of hammers.
In the Nanzhao period, Heqing tinsmiths carried bellows and anvils from village to village, digging a pit by the road to light a fire. Six centuries later the hammer is the same hammer.
The core technique is raising: one silver sheet hammered outward into a vessel with no soldered seam. Heavy blows make planes, light blows make grain. There is no drawing — it is all in the hand.
Food contact: reports first.
Teapots, cups and trays can be supplied with material composition and heavy-metal migration test reports from third-party labs, to destination requirements.
For cooking, specify the tin-lined version to limit copper migration. A food-contact declaration of conformity is available.
Sterling stamps, trademark and piece code go on the base, out of sight. Private marks can be added on request.
